Clarkson Continues Capacity Expansions at Two Facilities

Demand for Clarkson products has resulted in increased investment in throughput capacity at both the Cerro Gordo, Illinois, North Plant corn facility and the Mattoon, Illinois, soybean facility.

Additions at the Cerro Gordo North Plant corn facility include:

  • Acquisition of an additional grain cleaning line;
  • Expansion of receiving capacity on the organic side
  • Expansion of finished product holding capacity on the non-GMO side.

Not to be ignored, additions at the Mattoon soy facility include the installation of the latest generation Satake color sorter in the cleaning system for high speed, positive removal of unwanted material.

Clarkson acquired the business of Mattoon, IL-based US Soy in July, 2012.
